Mohans Catering was established in 1972. Founded by Mr Mohan Lal Makol and his wife Sushma Rani Makol. Mr Makol came to the UK in 1968 and started working in a bakery. He met his better half and got married to her in the same year. While handling a full time job Mr Makol also made side dishes for his friends as a hobby. It was during this time that his mother-in-law gave him the idea of the catering business. Mr Makol and his wife then started making savory snacks such as samosas from home. What started out as a hobby became a full-time business and due to the sheer hard work and determination Mohan Caterings Retail Outlet was opened in 1989.

Today Mohan Caterings has come a long way. Joining Mr. and Mrs. Makol in their family business today are his two sons Neeraj Makol and Pankaj Makol. From being just a small supplier of samosas today Mohans is a mass supplier of samosas in London and surrounding Middlesex area. Along with that they also specialise in catering for large functions and occasions such as Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries etc. having their clientele not only in London but also in Glasgow, Newcastle and as far as Belfast (Northern Ireland).
